Craftspeople will demonstrate skills such as basket making, butter making, spinning, rug hooking, and quilting. A storyteller will spin yarns of a different kind, recounting folk tales and legends that have endured for generations in Cornwall.

The Thirsty Troll Brew Fest – at Grundahl Park, 401 Blue Mounds Street, Mount Horeb – is an intimate beer sampling features 25 craft brewers serving over 100 different beers. New this year a Home Brewers Competition. Live Music. Food served by area civic organizations. Get your picture taken with Jorgen the Thirsty Troll. Festivities run from 1-5pm on Saturday.

Stringfever - brothers Giles, Ralph and Neal Broadbent and their cousin, Graham - are four world class musicians playing five and six-stringed electric violins, viola and cello in a truly original show. Stringfever’s unique, acclaimed version of Ravel’ s ‘Bolero’ has all four playing on one cello simultaneously.

Grab a partner and dance in downtown Powell. Band Rattlesnake Ridge from Worland, Wy. will be playing country music with a little rock and a little blues. At 6:00pm, dance instructors Carmella and Ed Conning from Cody will be offering FREE dances lessons, so you can learn or brush up on your two step! Come celebrate the bygone days at Powell, Wyoming's Homesteader Days Festival Weekend! Festivities begin with a downtown street dance with live band and free dance lessons on Friday evening. Saturday activities start with a 5k Fun Run and 1 mile guided historic walk through town learning the history of familiar buildings and landmarks.
