Marking Scheme

Concluding Examination and Grading
Final examination on the course will be for three hours duration and has a value of
70% of the total course grade. The examination will consist of questions which reflect the types of self-assessment practice exercises and tutor-marked problems you have previously encountered. There is an evaluation of all areas of the course.
You are advised to use the time between finishing the last unit and sitting for the examination to revise the entire course materials. You might find it useful to review your In-Text Questions (ITQ) and self-assessment exercises, tutor-marked assignments and comments on them before the examination. The final examination covers the entire course outline.
Marking Scheme
Table 1 presents the total marks (100%) allocation.
