Analysis
Positives: Shows good athleticism, size, strength and body control for his position... Right-footed soccer style kicker who uses a five-step, 6.5-yard approach with good leg extension on kickoffs...Drives the ball deep on kickoffs while attaining above average hang time...Can also handle directional punting, doing a nice job of angling his attempts towards the sidelines...Uses a three-step approach on field goals and placements, showing an easy leg swing that allows him to get the ball to rise quickly.
Negatives: While showing good leg strength, his accuracy needs improvement...Will sometimes hits the ball low and needs to get the pigskin up with better consistency...Field goals tend to drift to the right some...Suspended twice during his career and irdered to attend anger management classes.
Career Notes
Hard worker who consistently improved his mechanics and production each year of his Husker career...Went on to finish third on the school's all-time scoring list with 315 points, topped only by Eric Crouch (368 points, 1998-2001) and Kris Brown (388, 1995-98).
