<888> 11/12/12 Monday 9:20 P.M..   I chatted with a friend.  I put an inch of water in a two quart Revere pot, and I put in a steaming tray.  I brushed two medium potatoes underneath cold water cleaning them, and I sliced them into quarter inch thick slices, and I added them to the pot along with 25 baby carrots cut into quarters lengthwise and broccoli crowns, and I steamed them all with the lid on the pot on high electric burner heat for 15 minutes lowering it to medium high for the last 5 minutes.  Four minutes into the steamed vegetables, I added three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil to a fry pan, and I heated it for three minutes on medium high electric burner heat, and then I added a 12 ounce 1 inch thick top round London Broil.  I seared it on both sides adding garlic powder, ground black pepper and Italian seasoning to each side.  Then I flipped it every minute and after six minutes, I added three tablespoons of soy sauce, and I flipped it every 30 second for about two minutes until the soy sauce was reduced.  I ate the London Broil with Lea and Perrins Worcestershire sauce and Jack Daniels barbecue sauce, and I added Smart Balance Spread and extra virgin olive oil to the vegetables.  I ate it all with a 12 ounce glass of Schweppes Ginger Ale and a cup of green tea with Splenda sweetener and Borden's lemon juice.  CIO

I moved the USB HDVT stick from the second IBM ThinkCentre to the third IBM ThinkCentre, and I installed its software on the Windows 8 partition.  It only picks up HDTV antenna signals, and can not be used with the Cable Box signal.  CIO

<888> 11/11/12 Sunday 11:40 P.M..  I went out after the last note.  I threw out the garbage.  I went by the Stop and Shop, and I bought a six pack of Stop and Shop English muffins for $1.49, Stop and Shop deli sliced premium ham for $4.99 a pound for $5.14, deli sliced Stop and Shop white American cheese for $5.99 a pound  $6.02, and bananas for .79 a pound for $1.69 for $14.34 total.  I then went downtown, and I chatted with a relative on my wireless telephone, and I walked the entire length of Greenwich Avenue and the train station area.  It was not very busy.  They have pretty much finished tearing down the old Thataway restaurant building.  I stopped by Starbucks, and I used the bathroom, and I chatted with a regular.  I stopped by CVS, and I bought three .75 ounce Gold Emblem Italian spices for $1 each and a .75 ounce Gold Emblem oregano for $1 and a 40 count box of Lipton green tea bags for $3 for $7 total.  I then bought a 20 count package of CVS AA alkaline batteries for $3.99 and a 20 count package of CVS AAA alkaline batteries for $3.99 and .51 tax for $8.49 total. I then finished my walk.  On the way down Greenwich Avenue, I chatted with somebody smoking a cigarette outside the Gingerman cafe.  I sat out for a while after my walk.  I then returned home, and I put away my groceries. CIO

<888> 11/11/12 Sunday 7:15 P.M..  I finished the backup.  I ate breakfast of oatmeal with honey and milk and sliced banana, pineapple and apple chunks, a toasted English muffin with olive oil, a 12 ounce glass of watered down punch, and a cup of coffee with Splenda sweetener and milk.  I washed the breakfast dishes.  I made my bed.  I will now shower and clean up.  I will then go downtown.  CIO

<888> 11/11/12 Sunday 6:00 P.M..  After the last note, I removed the MSI ATI 128 MB X600 Pro PCI-E Express x16 DVI VGA video card from the third IBM ThinkCentre, and I put in the 256 MB IBM Fire GL V7100 PCI-E 2D/3D Dual-DVI video card from the fourth IBM ThinkCentre.  However, in Windows 8 Pro, it would only install the generic video driver which only supports one monitor and not the specific video driver that supports two monitors.  The Generic Video driver would also not work with the Netflix applet.  I changed the video cards back to the way they were before.  I went to bed at 9:30 A.M..  I woke up at 4:30 P.M..  I am now backing up both partitions on the Third IBM ThinkCentre to the Western Digital external hard drive.  CIO

<888> 11/11/12 Sunday 4:55 A.M..  I ate the last bowl of pineapple and apple chunks.  CIO

<888> 11/11/12 Sunday 4:25 A.M..  On the third IBM ThinkCentre, the Microsoft Wireless 6000 V3 keyboard's top row of numeric and punction keys in caps would not work in caps, so I replaced it with the same spare keyboard that had the broken USB sending unit.  I finished the backup.  CIO

<888> 11/11/12 Sunday 3:45 A.M..  I chatted with a relative earlier.  I installed and configured Windows 8 Pro on the second partition on the third IBM ThinkCentre by the Ethan Allen recliner.  It seems to work just fine.  I did not put Microsoft Money 2007 on it, since although it worked on the beta machine, the download test file said it would not work with Windows 8.  I also had to download the Windows 7 drivers for the MSI ATI 128MB X600 Pro PCI-E Express x16 DVI VGA video card.  The Windows 8 Pro DVD video driver did not support two monitors.  However, the Netflix applet does not work with the ATI drivers, so perhaps there will be an upgraded driver in the future.  I also installed the SIIG IC-510012-S2 5.1 audio card drivers and the TrendNet driver for the Trendnet Router USB print server.  Also the Lexmark E238 driver that came with the Windows 8 Pro DVD did not work like in the beta, but the Lexmark download does.  There are probably a lot of features in Windows 8 that I have not discovered yet.  I am backing it up with the backup program from the first partition operating system backing up both partitions to the Rosewell external hard drive.  I probably will not be using it very much, since it is not my primary work computer, but I have it setup for demonstration purposes if anyone is ever interested in it from my point of view.  CIO

<888> 11/10/12 Saturday 6:30 P.M..  I ate a 18 ounce can of Campbell's New England clam chowder with dried parsley in it along with a bowl of Lays sour cream and onion potato chips and a 12 ounce glass of Schweppes Ginger Ale.  I chatted with a friend twice.  Apparently a lot of the illegal Hispanic immigrants drink Doseki beer which does not have a web site yet.  Apparently a warm place to go near Whistler, Canada Whistler, BC Canada - The Official Tourism Website for Whistler is a place called Hidden Valley Hidden Valley Highlands Ski Area -, where it is suppose to be warmer in the valley.  When H.R.H. I have lived here on and off for fifty years.  One of the unique oddities about Greenwich, Connecticut is that we have no Judicial Courts except for parking court.  All Judicial proceeding are held in nearby Stamford, Connecticut.  Yet when we vote in our local elections, we are not allowed to vote for the Judges, District Attorneys, Prosecutors, and Sheriffs in our area.  The only Judicial office I have seen on our local ballot in past years is that of Probate Judge.  Thus the Citizens of Greenwich, Connecticut are not fairly represented in the local Judicial proceedings, since they are not allowed to vote for the various elected officers.  CIO

<888> 11/09/12 Friday 1:45 P.M..  I will now shower and clean up.  Since I have a home computer office at my simple pied a terre, there is no point going downtown to simply watch the idle people on Greenwich Avenue, unless I have something important to do.  CIO
