Believe it or not the last paying job I had in my life after working for many years as a dishwasher in Nantucket, I worked doing day labor for Ian Greenshield in Nantucket who was a local maintenance person. He looked like Sean Connery, and he had been Jackie Onassis’ private body guard in Stowe, Vermont. He had me do a day job in November 1983 painting the white trim on Admiral Halsey’s house on the Polpis Road out in Nantucket. Ian was a French Canadian, and his son lived in Fort Lauderdale and his father sat around the old hotel in Montreal. His family own Greenshield Investments which is now a part of the Welcome to RBC .
