<888> 12/08/12 Saturday 4:45 P.M..  I threw out the garbage.  I started up the Audi to make sure there were no rattles, from the repair work that I did.  It all seems fine.  On the Cabin Air Filter, it is missing its plastic cover housing, but I guess it has been that way for a long time.  I brought up two 3 foot by 18 inch by 5/8th inch white pine veneer shelves.  I put one on the third IBM ThinkCentre setup, and I stored the other one behind the bathroom door for future use.  I put the 28 inch by 15 inch by 5/8th inch shelf from the third IBM ThinkCentre with the fourth IBM ThinkCentre setup to have a larger keyboard area.  CIO

<888> 12/08/12 Saturday 3:55 P.M..  I picked up the mail.  The order for Brush Heads, Pro Bright Replacement Brush Heads for Oral-B EB18-2, 2 Brush Heads per Set | Meritline.com for $5.99 less 25% off with coupon code "MLCR19JN" for a $1.50 discount for $4.49 total with free shipping , but it appears to be the wrong replacement for the wrong model.  My model has dual brush heads.  CIO

<888> 12/08/12 Saturday 3:40 P.M..  I installed the new Cabin Filter in the Audi.  They sent me the wrong Air Filter for the Audi, Fram CA 6545, when it actually uses CA 8080, so I am using the Smart Label that came with the shipment to return it for the right one.  I paid $16.84 for it, but I think the Smart Label takes $8.95 off the credit.  The existing air filter seems to be still in very good shape.  CIO

<888> 12/08/12 Saturday 2:20 P.M..  I chatted with a relative.  I ate a ham and cheese sandwich on a Kaiser roll with Hellmann's olive oil mayonnaise, Italian spices, ground black pepper, hot horseradish, olive oil and three one eighth inch thick slices of a Bermuda onion with Lays salt and vinegar potato chips and a 12 ounce glass of A&W root beer.  CIO

<888> 12/07/12 Friday 7:45 P.M..  I picked up the mail.  My new Supplement Security Income monthly payment starting in January 2013 will be $710 a month up $12 a month from last year.  I will now eat two 3 ounce Purdue chicken cutlets and 12 ounces of mashed potatoes with Smart Balance Spread and extra virgin olive oil and a 12 ounce glass of 7-Up.  CIO

<888> 12/07/12 Friday 6:25 P.M..  I installed the new video card in the third IBM ThinkCentre with Windows 8 Pro.  It installed plug and play in both partitions.  I installed the latest 32 bit Windows 8 video driver for it from AMD Catalyst™ Display Driver for Windows 8 32-bit .  It works just fine.  Besides two monitor connectors, it also has an HDMI port.  When one connects an HDMI cable to it, it cripples one of the two monitor ports, but when I connected the 15 foot HDMI cable from the third IBM ThinkCentre to the HDMI switch box connected to HDMI 2 port on the Haier LCD TV, it works just fine.  However, for some reason, one can not switch the connections on the switch box with it connected, and it just works directly.  Thus if one wants to use the HDMI switch box for other devices, one has to disconnect the third IBM ThinkCentre HDMI cable from both the computer and the HDMI switch box which is no problem.  I moved the IBM ATI 128 meg. X600 video card from the third IBM ThinkCentre to the fourth IBM ThinkCentre, and it now plays in clone mode in the Windows 8 demo on both the Acer 19 inch LCD monitor and the Haier 32 inch LCD TV when VGA is selected in Input.  I chatted with a relative.  I will now fill out the $14 mail in rebate information for the new video card.  Thus I can watch Internet Video and Content on the Haier 32 inch LCD TV from either the third or the fourth IBM ThinkCentre computers.  CIO

<888> 12/07/12 Friday 2:15 P.M..  I threw out the garbage.  I went downtown, and I chatted with a local walker.  I walked down Greenwich Avenue and down Arch Street, and I looked at the three reindeer at McArdle McMillan McArdle's Florist & Garden Center | Greenwich, CT Stamford, CT .  I then walked east on Grigg Street.  They have and are remodeling houses on Grigg Street.  I then walked down Greenwich Avenue and around the Railroad Station area.  I stopped by Subway Sandwich Shop on lower Greenwich Avenue on the east side of the street, and I bought a six inch meatball sub with cheese and trimmings for $2.13 total.  I sat out in front of the Senior and the Arts center, and I ate it.  I then used the bathroom at the Senior and the Arts Center.  I then went up Greenwich Avenue to the http://www.greenwichhardware.com/ , and I bought a 15 foot 15 amp grey Eagle Air Conditioner Extension Cord 1875 watts max for $12.99 and .82 tax for $13.81 total.  I then went by CVS, and I used the bathroom.  I bought a 40 count box of Hallmark Cards | Shop for Ecards, Birthday Cards, Greeting Cards & More Christmas cards for $12.99 less a 20% CVS discount of $2.60 and .66 tax for $11.05 total.  I then went by the new Greenwich Post Office, and they are out of Christmas stamps, so I bought forty Ronald Reagan .45 forever stamps for $18 total.  I then finished my walk.  I used my umbrella today, since it was raining.  I then returned home.  I put the new Eagle air conditioning cord on the Sharp Convection oven connected to the center counter kitchen electrical socket.  I ran the Sharp convection oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes and then for 15 minutes, and it did not quit working, so hopefully I have fixed it by using a heavier duty extension cord.  I moved the orange 25 foot 12 amp extension cord to connecting  it to the hallway power strip to the DeLonghi oil filled radiator on the right side of the sitting chair by the hallway, so it is ready for use.

<888> 12/06/12 Thursday 11:20 A.M..  My social worker and the ceiling installer inspected my apartment.  They will get back to me next Tuesday.  They either will do it next Wednesday and Thursday or the week after that.  We agreed I will have to disconnect all of the electronics in the way of the work areas.  I will move some of the smaller items, and the ceiling installers will move some of the heavier items.  I guess we will stack them up and cover them in the hallway.  The ceiling installer seems to think it will take two days.  Getting at the areas on the outside wall corners will be the most difficult, since they go up ten feet to the original ceiling.  They claim they can do the job whatever it takes.  However, the FIC server desk and the Microwave Stand in the primary computer work area will have to be moved, and the Sony television setup on the other side of the living room will have to moved along with the smaller pieces of furniture supporting the computers and the Ethan Allen recliner.  Since the bedroom is very compact, it might be a lot more complicated getting a latter into it, but they say they have a tall skinny person to do the work.  Since the Dutch and the British have been doing the most in this area to improve the interior decoration over these last 400 years, I put the Dutch Tricolor and the British Union Jacks back up in the hallway.  If they keep getting down on my case, I will put the Scottish St. Andrews flag and the Saudi Arabian flags which represent a lot more energy than I have locally.  People do not network with me, because television in this area says that Donald http://www.trump.com/ is the only person with money that knows how to get thing done.  I guess everyone else is retired or headed to the four winds down south.  I showed Windows 8 to my Social Worker.  My appointment next Thursday December 13, 2012 has been cancelled, so I guess weather permitting, I will be able to get out and celebrate the His Highness the Aga Khan's 75th Birthday - Mowlana Hazar Imam's 75th Birthday - December 13, 2011 76th birthday.  I am not a Muslim though.  By religion of my family on my mother's side is 100% Dutch Reform, and on the larger Scott family side, we are Presbyterian, Episcopal, Anglican, and Methodist and Scottish Rite Mason.  CIO
