Trivia: Rick’s Café is a famous hangout in Jamaica where people can regularly watch skilled divers, as well as brave tourists, take extreme leaps. While tourists can jump from about 35 feet up, the higher jumps are left to the regular jumpers. The Social Side: By Barbara Kiss It has been a quiet summer at CEPAC but we do have a couple of items to report. Beryl Bernier became a grandmother for the seventh time on September 25 when her daughter, Ravelle, here in Atlanta had a second little girl, Laila, to join big sister, Kennedy, 4. And while mentioning new babies, Ramin Djaved, will welcome his second child on December 24th to join his son, Shervin, 2. What a Christmas present! Summer is a time for vacations, so Lee Palmer, from Public Safety, went with family and friends to Jamaica. He went to Ricks Café and only thought about making that famous jump. Maybe next time – “No Problem Mon.”
