Christmas Monster Raffle:
We continue our very popular Christmas Monster Raffle this year with the following excellent prizes:

There will also be many, many more prizes included in this draw, a big selection of hampers, toys and vouchers.
The Draw will take place on Wednesday December 15th
Tickets will go on sale in the school hall on:
Monday 13th 8.30am to 9.15am
Tuesday 14th 8.30am to 9.15am
Wednesday 15th 8.30am to 9.15am followed by Prize Draw
Tickets will cost €2 per ticket or €5 for 3 tickets.
Food Collection for Cork Simon:
We were approached by Robert O'Regan from Ms Moore's class to arrange a food collection point this Christmas in Aid of Cork Simon. This collection will take place from Monday December 13th to Thursday December 16th so that all items can be collected from the school on Friday 17th of December. The boys are asked to bring the donations to their own classrooms on those mornings where the teacher will allow them to bring them down to the school collection point during class.
A note will be sent out to all the boys in the next week or so.
New Uniforms:
There will be order forms sent out early in the New Year for the ordering of School Uniforms for the new school academic year Sept 2011/June 2012.Full information on this will be handed out at that time so please keep a look out for the form to ensure efficient ordering.
School Holidays:
The school will break up for the Christmas Holidays on Thursday 23rd of December at 12 noon.
The school will re-open on Monday January 10th at 8.50am.

Second Hand Uniform Shop:
Our next Used Uniform Day will be on Friday 14th of January from 8.30am – 9.15am. We are always looking for donations of second hand uniforms. The shop is situated up the steps in the Green Building on your right hand side as you drive in towards the Main Gates into the school. If you are unsure, please ask at reception.
School Carol Services Dates:
Junior Infants - Second Class in St. Columba's Church on Wed 15/12/10 @ 12 noon.
3rd Class - 6th Class are Thursday 16th @ 11.30am
Christmas Coffee Morning:
A big thank you to everybody who made it to the Christmas Coffee morning despite the weather. We had a lovely time and lots of Spot prizes were won. Our next coffee morning will be on Wednesday 2nd February 2011 in the GAA Hall @10am, everybody is welcome, bring your family, friends, and neighbors.

Suggestion Box:
The suggestion box has been moved from the reception ledge but will have to remain within the reception area as we have no other place to put it. Please feel free to put your suggestions into it as nobody sees who puts them in as there is so much traffic through the school. Your suggestions are always welcome.
Thanks to all the boys who put suggestions in the Parents Association Suggestion Box in Reception in November. We got a great surprise when we opened it and we had a good laugh……. It is nice to have some light hearted fun at the end of a busy calendar year:

On behalf of the parents association we would sincerely like to thank all the parents and boys who always give so generously to our events throughout the year. We really appreciate your support especially in these difficult times. We would like to thank Harry our wonderful caretaker who is such a great help to us all and no job is ever too much trouble for him. We would like to thank all the teachers throughout the school and the ASD centre for their help to us during the year and to Mr. Wilkinson for his great support and open door policy. We would like to wish you all a very Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy the holidays and see you all again in January.
