Version: A specific form or variation of something.
Version Control See Configuration Control.
Vertical traceability: The tracing of requirements through the layers of development documentation to components.
Vision: An image of the project's deliverable as the solution to the stated need or problem.
V-model: A framework to describe the software development lifecycle activities from requirements specification to maintenance. The V-model illustrates how testing activities can be integrated into each phase of the software development lifecycle.

Walkthrough: A step-by-step presentation by the author of a document in order to gather information and to establish a common understanding of its content Freedman and Weinberg, IEEE

Workshop: A kind of meeting focused on specific (previously defined and announced to the participants) topic, usually involving stakeholders representing different areas or/and domains fora short, intensive period.
