The analog signal is amplified, then passed to a speaker. If the
sound was recorded in stereo, the data is divided into two channels that are separately converted
back to analog signals,
amplified, and sent to their corresponding speakers. Speakers convert the analog signal back into traveling pressure waves that you can hear.
