NO DEHYDRATION A child who does not have two or more signs in either the red or yellow row is classified as having NO DEHYDRATION.
Treatment This child needs extra fluid to prevent dehydration. A child who has NO DEHYDRATION needs home treatment. The 3 rules of home treatment are Give extra fluid Give zinc supplement daily for 14 days. The first tablet should be given in the health centre, demonstrating to the mother how to dissolve
it in water or breastmilk, if necessary.
