1

To maintain the pressure envelope for conditions within design basis

1.1 Pressure Vessel External Inspection

There shall be no unacceptable flaws in the Pressure Vessel as defined within the Inspection Management Process.

* There shall be no unacceptable cracks in the vessel or supports.
* There shall be no unacceptable corrosion in the vessel, flanges, bolting and supports
* There shall be no unacceptable visible damage (gouges, dents, deformations, arc strikes) to vessel or supports.

These should be tasks/activities in a scheduled assurance event specified in a Company process/procedure.**

Approved Flare Relief and blowdown Study.

Approved/checked calculations for relief devices.

Approved specification and data sheets.

HAZOP review.
