Topic-040: Transcription of Vowels

In order to learn the transcription of vowels, we need to start exploring the IPA chart for vowels go to IPA website for detail. Once it is done, we can explore the particular vowel sounds of the BBC English and compare them with the IPA vowel chart. The BBC accent is generally described as having short vowels, long vowels and diphthongs. There are said to be seven short vowels, five long ones and eight diphthongs.
