Threat of the new entrants is low in the logistics and shipping industry. The main reason of the low threat of new entrants is the high capital requirements, because of the initial investment of vehicles and creation of warehouses. Another factor that needs high capital is the maintenance cost of the service, as standards for delivery services are consistently growing and customer expect excellency. Also the size of the existing companies and connection they have already established do limit the chances of new companies growing their own distribution and network channels. The extreme degree of knowledge in concerns to the individual countries regulations are also hindering new companies in competing[ CITATION Kum17 \l 1033 ].
