Prerequisites for Azure Virtual Desktop

Worldwide endpoints The endpoints for worldwide Microsoft 365 subscriptions, which include the United States Government Community Cloud GCC. US. Government DoD endpoints The endpoints for United States Department of Defense (DoD) subscriptions. US. Government GCC High endpoints The endpoints for United States Government Community Cloud High (GCC High) subscriptions. Microsoft 365 operated by
21Vianet endpoints The endpoints for Microsoft 365 operated by 21Vianet, which is designed to meet the needs for Microsoft 365 in China.

Also consider the following
• Users may need access to applications and data that is hosted on different networks, so make sure thr session hosts can connect to them.
•
Round-trip time (RTT) latency from the client's network to the Azure region that contains the host pools should be less than 150 ms. Use the Experience Estimator to view your connection health and recommended Azure region. To optimize for network performance, we recommend you create
session hosts in the Azure region closest to your users.

Remote Desktop Clients
Users will need a Remote Desktop client to connect to desktops and applications. The following clients support Azure Virtual Desktop
• Windows Desktop client
• Azure Virtual Desktop Store app for Windows
• Web client
• macOS client
• iOS and iPadOS client
• Android and Chrome OS client
• Remote Desktop app for Windows Any Remote Desktop clients used to connect to Azure Virtual Desktop must have access to the following URLs.
