This powerful industrial sector is very dynamic and exporter. The ratio of foreign trade coverage of the Navarre economy was 187% in 2015, the highest in all Autonomous Communities of Spain. The main strengths of the Navarra economy are found in the automotive industry, machinery and electrical equipment, agro-food industry and the renewable energy sector. 81% of Navarra's foreign trade is in the sector of raw materials, industrial products and capital goods. Specifically, the automotive sector accounts for 43% of Navarre's international trade. In the automotive sector, Volkswagen Navarra stands out, exporting to the whole world the VW Polo, the only vehicle "made in Spain" among the twenty best selling models in the world. It has recently been confirmed that this factory will produce a second model from 2018, which will increase its production and transportation needs. Moreover, the industrial plant of General Motors is in Zaragoza. The automotive sector is one of the sectors with more intensive use of rail transport. The Noáin-Pamplona intermodal terminal, one of the largest in northern Spain, supports the increase in rail use by companies in the area, which currently use the road for freight transport. Navarre's international trade is concentrated in Europe: Navarre exports and imports with the European Union countries and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) account for 75% of Navarre's total world trade.
