As usual with this kind of weak tropical cyclone, the danger came more from the heavy rain than from the winds, even if the A.W.S recorded 80km/h gusts in St-Barth and 90 km/h in La Désirade, which experienced tropical storm force winds during approximately 12 hours (2 sep 22 utc to 3 sep 11 utc).
