Records of rainfall were very ill-distributed in the archipelago of Guadeloupe as well as in Martinique. The island of Desirade (East of Guadeloupe) experienced the heaviest rainfalls with a total amount above 300mm in 2 days. Many other parts of Guadeloupe were also impacted by heavy rain and even Martinique has been swept by heavy rainbands that gave between 100 and 150mm in a few hours with gusts up to 80 km/h.
