1 9 1 The dictionary defines an analogy as a similarity in some respects between things that are otherwise dissimilar In each of the questions contained in this section, you will find a pair of related words. These words are separated by a colon, like this:

The best way to approach an analogy question is to makeup a sentence that describes the relationship between the first two words and find another pair in the choices that would fit into that same sentence.
