2008 – Permission was granted on February 24th to Dewayne P. Sheehan, District Supervisor of the Calgary Board of Education, to use the survey instrument developed by Stier and Schneider that was used for the
following peer-reviewed publication: Stier, W.F., & Schneider, R.C. (2007). What every public school physical educator should know about the hiring process. Journal of Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance, 78(1), 40-45.
2003 – Permission was granted by Drs. Stier and Schneider to Harold Albert to
use a research instrument that Stier and Schneider developed/published in Mr. Albert’s graduate research thesis project. The survey instrument was created for the published article entitled: What High School Principals Expect of Their Athletic Directors: A National Investigation that appeared previously in JOPERD. The results of Mr. Albert’s thesis were shared with Stier and Schneider. A thank-you email was sent to Stier/Schneider on March 30, 2003.
