  • Developed and designed the Logistic Vertical of Security and Loss Prevention from scratch for Consumer Supply Chain Management in Reliance Retail. Carried out Risk and Mitigation analysis for 1300 Plus new sites which has come up within a short duration of 09 months.

  • Successfully recruited and Trained individuals Pan India to ensure business continuity. Designed and implemented a comprehensive commonsense mitigation program which included staff awareness, field support and application of Point of Sale (POS) technology like Facial recognition, CCTV and mobile real time tracking and audit to address root cause of the problem in high risk areas.

  • Designed and developed the Central Vehicle Tracking Station (CVTS) by leveraging technology with the aim of real time tracking and monitoring the complete fleet of Primary and Secondary Vehicular movement (approx. 3000 plus vehicles) across all verticals of Reliance Retail, so as to ensure productivity with respect to vehicle utilization and highlight alerts and exceptions with the aim to provide better business insights across all transport operations. This included monitoring of First Mile, Mid Mile and Last mile movements to ensure reduction in Transit losses.

  • Designed monitoring system across all Logistics sites by leveraging technology with the aim of real time monitoring of all sites Pan India. Utilized Business Intelligence Solutions for performing shrink analysis across various Hubs Pan India with the aim of highlighting inventory management gaps through identifying operational errors, external and internal losses. Formulated and designed policies, Standard Operating Procedures, processes, guidelines and governance framework for Security resources Pan India. Undertaken investigations in a time bound and transparent manner to ensure accountability with respect to business by all stake holders.

  • Addressed challenges of the retail category based on impact and source of loss. Optimized profitability by reclaiming leaked revenue for greater opportunity to enhance profit. Designed Audit framework and carried out regular Audit at every stage of Operations in a warehouse with aim to minimize losses and to ensure processes are followed.

  • Designed and formulated various reports highlighting potential risk areas to Business and Operations CEOs with the aim of reducing overall loss to the business. Ensured business continuity by keeping abreast with Government policies and undertaking regular checks with respect to availability of all Government Licenses before starting of any site.

  • Ensured HSEF protocols are followed at all sites and highlighting to business gaps if any to take preventive measures with the aim of ensuring People and Asset safety.

  • Over two decades of experience in Logistics in Ordnance Corps of Indian Army -Administered overall supply chain, procurement and vendor management, distribution of materials, by maintaining optimum inventory in a timely manner. Successfully developed high-level implementation plans, and determined future logistics organizational structure/support ensuring Delivery-in-Full (DIF) and Delivery-on-Time (DOT). Played a key role in optimizing material management processes with the application of lean principles throughout the value stream, synchronization of demand with supply capabilities, in collaboration with strategic customers and suppliers.

  • Expertise in building and leading teams that leverage internal and external resources to achieve organizational objectives; ensuring material flow in a manufacturing unit, developing requests for proposals, acquiring supplies, implementing purchasing policies, and training staff and gaining High respect from superiors, peers and subordinates.

  • Directed pricing and performance reviews to identify service and revenue improvement opportunities, and supervised movement and handling of freight and cargo. Focused on developing and implementing process controls and quality improvement initiatives that reduce costs and increase revenue thereby ensuring considerable savings to the state. Ensured availability of critical stores through creative thinking with help of reverse logistics.
