The teeth are used for chewing most of the you eat, thereby aiding digestion.human being grow two sets of teeth. The first is the milk or temporary teeth during childhood. These are 24 in number, they loosen and fall out.they are replaced by the parmanent teeth in adulthood.The permanent teeth are usually 32.
Structure of the teeth A tooth is made up of the following parts
1.the crown: the par of the teeth projecting above the gum.
2. The root: the part buried in the gum.
3. The neck: the space between the crown and the root.
4. The dentine: it soround and protects the pulp cavity.
5. The pulp cavity: contain blood vesels and nerves.
6. The enamel:is a very hard substance which cover the crown of the teeth.
