Two lines for Project:- Day Care Centre for Mentally Challenged Children is a sigh of relief, a helping hand for the parents with such children who cannot afford personal care takers or different therapists to look after and concentrate on all over growth of their child.

Target For The Year:- Integrate mentally challenged children into Normal Schools; train the moderate children for daily chores of life (like bathing, wearing clothes, toilet training etc.) and trying to bring them to a level to be more socially acceptable and be independent.
ACHIEVEMENTS & ACTIVITIES FOR THIS YEAR:
The school uniforms of the children were changed giving them a bright smile as the new uniforms in the tinge of red looked attractive and bright to all our children.
Celebrated World Disability Day on 3rd December in Sayaji Express at Sayaji Garden Baroda.
Activity of candle making and selling in the month of December 2014 was done. The Special School Children made the candle themselves under the supervision of our teachers and they were sold at the Church thereby enhancing the visibility of talents and efforts of our Special Children.
On 6th February 2015, 5 children participated in BOCCE game conducted by VNM Khel Utsav.
On 16-17th March 2015, ‘Special Olympics’ at State level was held where 15 children were enrolled at sports Ground, Manjalpur for competitions like fast walk, 50 and 100 mts run, shotput, etc. In which, 4 of our children received 1st prize, 6 children received 2nd prize, 1 child received 3rd prize for different things.
Child Shifa Ghachi who has been taking regular physiotherapy has really been benefitted as she is now able to stand up with support on her own and also sit in chair without anyone’s help, which she could not earlier.
Himanshu Pawar has started speaking whole sentence and 2 others can now speak words in day to day things as per their need with the help of the speech therapist.
Successful Case Study
CHIRAG ZAVRE:
The child had stiff legs which were permanently bent due to which he would not be able to lie down properly forget standing or trying to walk. With the help of one of the Trustees we helped the child go through surgery and helped him in the initial physiotherapy so that his legs become straight and flexible. The child was operated successfully and his legs were straightened and the parents were given indication to strengthen his legs. The doctors said that he even had a chance to walk with the support of arm sticks in future.
