The techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools are used for design the safety aspects of an automobiles (PO12). The ability to maintain and troubleshoot automobiles sub components and assembly (PSO1).

GAP IDENTIFICATION FOR THE COURSE

  1. PO2: Problem analysis: It was observed that the course had the scope to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations. So it is recommended that a topic on latest cad tools and its uses to be discussed.

  2. PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: It was also observed that the course had the scope to Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings. So it is recommended make students to participate in various technical events.

  3. PO7: Environment and sustainability: It was observed that the course had the scope to create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools including prediction and modeling to environmental sustainability. So it is recommended that a topic on material to sustain environment effect to be discussed.

  4. PO8: Ethics: It was observed that the course had the scope of electrical equipment devices and its functions and all. Its not deal with any ethical problems. Before start of any experiments or topic the ethical, safety and device handling procedure will teach them.

  5. PO10: Communication: It was also observed that the course had the scope to communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions. So it is recommended make students to participate in various technical events.

  6. PO11: Project management and finance: It was also observed that the course had the scope to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments. So it is recommended that a topic on latest cad tools and its uses to be discussed.

Activities to bridge the course:

  1. Students are encouraged to do Computer-aided design (CAD) programs into their existing design and analysis processes, including 2D and 3D solid modeling . This method has many benefits, including easier and more exhaustive visualization of about the basic concepts.

  2. Students are encouraged to do Real time Projects such as Analysis of bridges, dams & automobile structures for safety through their Engineering knowledge.

  3. Students are fortified to do analysis of Mechanical components without compromise any safety aspects.

  4. Students are encouraged to attend Symposiums, Conferences and to do mini project.
