Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent from a recognised institution, passed with degree class 2.1 or better.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C, PHP and Python, Appreciation of project management and IT Security.

Any certificate in IT programming is an added advantage.

Age limit 26 years and below;

Duties and Responsibilities

Develop, test and implement new software programs;

Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications;

Maintaining and upgrading existing systems to ensure strong functionality and optimization;

Integrate software components and third party programs;

Troubleshoot, debug existing software;

Create technical documentation.

SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT SCIENCES

Administrative Assistant – Post Graduate Programmes (1 Post)
Applicants should have a relevant first degree plus two (2) years relevant post qualification experience. University experience would bean added advantage. The incumbent must be of mature disposition with initiative, good interpersonal and computer skills, be proficient in both oral and written English and be able to work under minimum supervision.
3.2
Secretary (1 Post)
Applicants should have 5 O Level passes including English Language, a National Diploma in Secretarial Studies or equivalent and at least three years post qualification experience preferably in a University setup. Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is a must. In addition the incumbent must be of mature disposition with initiative, be able to work with minimum supervision, have well-developed supervisory skills and be proficient in both oral and written English.
