    • Outline is neatly typed and organized, easy to follow, and fits within the 1-page requirement.

    • Outline is typed or neatly handwritten, somewhat organized, may show some irregularities in fluidity of thought-process, and may or may not fit within the 1-page requirement.

    • Outline is not typed or poorly handwritten, unorganized/uneasy to follow, no fluidity in transitions, and does not fit within the 1-page requirement.

    • Outline Required Criteria

    • Outline is presented with concise, bulleted information, five (5) sources are cited (to be found on the MLA Works Cited page), and clearly addresses the topic with relevant evidence.

    • Outline is presented with somewhat concise, bulleted information, most sources are cited (to be found on the MLA Works Cited page), and mainly addresses the topic with relevant evidence.

    • Outline is not concise or bulleted. Outline is written in paragraph-form. Sources are unapparent and/or not cited/not found on the MLA Works Cited page, and sways from the topic with irrelevant or no evidence for support.

    • Mechanics

    • Outline and MLA Works Cited page shows 0-4 errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

    • Outline and MLA Works Cited page shows 5-9 errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

    • Outline and MLA Works Cited page shows 10+ errors in spelling, grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

    • MLA Works Cited page is proficiently typed, formatted (title, margins, alphabetized, and hanging indentations), and citations are free of error.
