Executive Summary
The ACC Men’s Basketball is associated with only winners. In the last decade 5 ACC teams have won the NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship. Out of those 5 teams 3 won the ACC Men’s Basketball Championship prior. The ACC’s popularity reaches all over the east coast, south east and along with basketball fans around the country, making the ACC a valuable partner to any company. A partnership with the ACC will raise awareness, sales, and broaden the target market for Chick-Fil-A.
Chick-Fil-A is one of the most popular fast food chains in the US. Consumers of Chick-Fil-A enjoy the quality of food, service and environment provided by the Chick-Fil-A company. Chik-Fil-A’s target market is closely associated with the target market of the ACC both marketing towards male, middle aged, middle class consumers. The partnership between these two organizations would prove beneficial for both companies.
Sponsoring with the ACC will ultimately increase the sales for Chick-Fil-A by raising awareness of the product to a large market.
