Oyster Drill
In the South Carolina salt marsh a snail called the Atlantic Oyster Drill lives in Oyster reefs. The oyster drill attaches itself to oysters, drills through the oyster shell, killing and eating the oyster that is inside.

rhizocephalan barnacle
Also found in South Carolina salt marshes are rhizocephalan barnacles, this barnacle spends the second half of its life attached to the Atlantic mud crab. The barnacle prevents the mud crabs from reproducing and eventually kills the crab.
