CONCLUSION In conclusion, research on discourse tenor is based on the purpose of saying a word in the context of a situation. Whether the voice is high or low, polite or rude, it helps to determine which is the communication between the representatives of the society. Discourse tenor analysis is the study of the semantic relations of speech and text in communicative linguistics. Furthermore, words are employed in both formal and informal communication. The study is predicated on the examination of the discourse situation, the status of the participants, time, space, and circumstances.
