Social media among senior high school students be described in terms of:

a. Hours of using social media;

b. Satisfaction;

c. Addiction;

d. Encouragement; and

e. Spread of positivity



Mental health among senior high school students be described in terms of:

a. Depression;

b. Stress;

c. Anxiety;

d. Loneliness; and

e. Suicidal thoughts

The figure shows the concept of this research entitled “The Impacts of Social Media on Student’s Mental Health”. The independent variable is the impacts of social media on senior high school students in terms of their hours of using social media, satisfaction, addiction, encouragement, and spread of positivity. The dependent variable of this research was the mental health of the senior high school student in terms of depression, stress, anxiety, loneliness and suicidal thoughts.
