Motor Vehicles (Approval of Motor Bikes and Motor Trikes) Notice 2016 under the Motor Vehicles Act 1959 1—Short title This notice may be cited as the Motor Vehicles (Approval of Motor Bikes and Motor Trikes) Notice 2016. 2—Commencement This notice will come into operation on the date of publication in this Gazette. 3—Approved motor bikes and motor trikes For the purposes of Schedules 2 and 3 of the Motor Vehicles Regulations 2010 and the transitional provisions of the Motor Vehicles Variation Regulations 2005 (No 233 of 2005), the motor bikes and motor trikes specified in Schedule 1 are approved. Schedule 1—Approved motor bikes and motor trikes 1—Motor bikes and motor trikes with an engine capacity not exceeding 260 ml All motor bikes and motor trikes with an engine capacity not exceeding 260 milliliters and a power to weight ratio not exceeding 150 kilowatts per tonne other than the following: Suzuki RGV250 Kawasaki KR250 (KR-1 and KR1s models) Honda NSR250 Yamaha TZR250 Aprilia RS250 The motor bikes and motor trikes listed in the table below:
