b) HISTORICAL ASPECT OF THE PHENOMENON
Aquatecture is the study of structures that can be constructed in and on water. Analysing the construction of forts amidst water and underwater tunnels in history conclude that these ideas have always invited a man to explore the idea of habitat. In present context underwater and on water, construction is very trending which enables the use of new technologies in the field of construction. For centuries, intrepid architects and engineers have been building upon the water, either by reclaiming land from the sea or through creating incredible wooden foundations. Needless to say, building on water is no easy task. With land at a premium, and set to become evermore

scarce with our ballooning population, perhaps aquatic structures like these will someday become far more common.

The ship’s armaments consisted of a single torpedo tube and a pneumatic cannon known as a dynamite gun It was powered by a cylinder gasoline engine for surface travel, but also included a 160- horsepower electric motor to move underwater. b. The Punta Della Dogana, Italy Venice's 17th Century Architectural Wonder Completed in the 17th Century, the
Punta della Dogana stands as one of the most iconic buildings in Venice. It was originally designed to serve as a customs house. Like many of
Venice's buildings, the foundations for the Punta della Dogana were built by pushing long stakes of wood deep into the sand beneath the water. The floating techniques applied in ships and submarines became the base for designing of floating structures.
