Key words
Aquatecture: architecture designed to work with water. It is an architectural adaptation typology used to mitigate and manage flooding. With this typology, water and architectural design can unite to produce dynamic and reliable mitigation solutions.
Floating architecture: floating architecture can be defined as a building for living/working space that floats on water by the specificity of their buoyant foundation or with other floatation system.
Land scarcity: Land for suitable developments is rare as the demand for land increases.
