| E x ecu ti v e Compensation This unit examined executive compensation across the companies in our study. For the twenty-eight companies in the study, from ten years before the transition point to 1998, we collected data and performed a wide variety of analyses. 1. Total of all officers' and directors' salary + bonus as a percent of net worth at transition year. 2. CEO's total cash compensation as a percent of net worth at transition year. 3. CEO's salary + bonus as a percent of net worth at transition year. 4.
