Khanda’s history stems way back since 1984, however, as a Black Owned South African Company,   I-Khanda Engineering has built up a high and esteemed reputation since its takeover in 2001.

   UD Trucks who partnered with us regarding their corporate remanufacturing program via the UD dealership network.

   Armscor/SANDF is a client that we serve as an officially appointed Deutz Diesel Power (DDP) repair agent for the maintenance-, repair and rebuild of Deutz engines for Military applications.

I-Khanda’s aim is to this year still recruit UNITRANS as a client with the vision of becoming their preferred service provider in the repair/rebuilding of their fleet engines consisting of UD/Nissan, MAN, Mercedes Benz, etc as we shall create for them peace of mind within a trusted relationship.

By means of the “roll-up” principle I-Khanda Engineering (Pty) Ltd is 51% Black owned by the following individuals:

   40.8% shares owned by Mrs RS Nyembe (a Black Female called Bongi)
   
2. 
   10.2% shares owned by MA Stoffel (a Black Military Veteran known as Owen Mashaba from exile)
   

I-Khanda Engineering is 51% owned by DAWENU Group (PTY) Ltd

DAWENU Group is 100% owned by the following legal entities:

   PGSI Group (Pty) Ltd – 80%
   
2. 
   MA Stoffel (Owen Mashaba as individual)- 20%
   

Both DAWENU Group and PGSI Group are Level 1 BBBEE companies ito the South African DTI’s Codes of Good Practice.

Henry Human who is the General Manager of the company, has been involved in the industry for 25 years. An experienced group of qualified technicians supports Henry ensuring work of exceptional quality.

Warranties. The following warranties apply on specific condition that prescribed post-delivery engine and/or component service and maintenance are done strictly in accordance with OEM service schedules.

   Heavy Vehicle Engines -  first of 12 Months or 100 000 km

   Components – first of 3 Months or 10 000 km
