We are proud of Strongsville alumnus Dr. William Bedford II Bill Bedford II Doctor of Physical Therapy Doctor of Physical Therapy Graduate from University of Maryland. Licensed physical therapist for the State of Ohio. Experience in outpatient physical therapy treating athletes, runners, post surgical rehabilitation, and chronic back pain. Additional experience with acute care pediatric physical therapy and subacute/geriatric rehabilitation. Education: Strongsville City Schools, Drake Elementary, Center Middle School, Strongsville High School. Activities and Honors: Strongsville High School 2001 graduate: National Honor Society, Cross Country, Percussionist-Orchestra, Alto Saxophonist- Wind Ensemble, Strongsville Marching Band, Orange Bowl Parade Performance- Miami Florida, Largest Feature Band in Disney's Night Premiere- Light Spectacular -Spectro Magic Parade Performance, SHS Jazz Band- Tri- C Jazz Festival Performances. Degrees Earned: Ohio Wesleyan University- Private University - Bachelor of Economics and Finance- Varsity Cross Country, Varsity Track, Park Avenue Jazz Band, Investment Club University of Maryland - Dr. of Physical Therapy- APTA Society Accomplishments: 165 mile bike ride from Miami Florida to Key West with Abbvie Team to raise money for HIV. (Pictured below in the middle 4th from right and left) ~Bill Bedford II is the son of PROUD- Strongsville'>LIFE LONG residents of Strongsville, Mr. and Mrs. William and Dara Bedford. The Bedford Family-Featured in this year's Strongsville Bicentennial Celebration (Pictured below on a trip to China, Bill Jr. Dara, Bill Sr.) Mr. William (Bill) Bedford Sr. is the retired Strongsville Director of Bands at Center Middle School as well as SHS Assistant Band Director. His wife Dara also a retired educator and former owner of Dara's Flower Mill Florist (Pearl Road) ************************** Dear Strongsville PRIDE, Strongsville is a great town to have grown up in. It provided me with endless fantastic opportunities. As for my personal passions in life of finance, medicine sports and instrumental music, Strongsville afforded me with the most outstanding educational and community programs. It is a STRONG and CARING community with GREAT people living here. After living in Washington D.C., I missed this community and am very happy to be back.
