Mr. Oliver was born in Red Oak, GA the son of the late Ella Frances Payton and Edgar Ray Oliver. He was a member of Ash Street Baptist Church, and a past member of the Moose Lodge of Forest Park. He enjoyed bowling, deer hunting, and fishing and was an avid walker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Elenora Hall Oliver; grandson, Robert Richard Hall and several siblings. Survivors are his children, Robert “Bobby” Oliver and wife Jane of Hampton and Ruth Oliver Drew of McDonough; grandchildren, Warren Hall, Woody Hall, Frank Hall, Darrell Oliver, Steven Oliver and Deyna Lewis; 12 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Catherine Ramey of Jasper, GA and Evelyn Hart of Lincoln, CA and several nieces and nephews.
