2. Identify two indicators of democracy. Identify when a democracy is considered consolidated. One indicator of democracy is that there is a democratic voting system in place with fair and free elections and multiple political parties. Another indicator of democracy is that there are rules put in places which respect human rights of those in the country. A democracy is considered consolidated when the people agree with the laws made by the leaders they elected and they share equal power with them. The leaders have no chance of gaining too much power that they can change things again without input from the people.
