1. To be considered for a Mid-Atlantic ranking, a player must be a USTA member in good standing at the close of the ranking period (December 31st). The player also must maintain residency or reside within the Mid-Atlantic Section for at least 6 consecutive months within the ranking year. No player/team qualifying and receiving a ranking in
another USTA section will be ranked in the Mid-Atlantic Section.

2. All MAS Adult Championships are open to nonresidents, EXCEPT the USTA/MAS Men's Wild Card Challenge.

3. The 2007 ranking year is the 2007 calendar year. 2007 rankings are published in 2008.

4. All adult players (for singles and doubles) must play at least one Mid-Atlantic Championship and have at least one match win among the required tournaments to be considered for
ranking. This requirement is waived in those categories where only one Mid-Atlantic Championship is held.

5. If only the Mid-Atlantic Championship is played in any age division, players or teams will not be ranked. Instead, the Mid-Atlantic Champion and finalist will be recorded and recognized.

6. Player rankings will be based upon a Ranking Committee review of Preliminary Rankings as calculated by the USTA STAR computer program.

7. Preliminary rankings will be posted on the USTA/MAS website by mid-December, and will be mailed along with player records to all qualified players. Ranking protests must be received at the Mid-Atlantic office by January 15, 2008.
