League Structure:
18 & Over and 40 & Over Leagues:
Possible levels of play for 2017 are 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5.
All levels will play 2 singles and 3 doubles except for the 2.5 level, which will play 1 singles and 2
doubles.
Each level has a regular day of play: 4.5-Monday, 4.0-Tuesday, 3.5-Wednesday, 3.0-Thursday, 2.5-Friday.
Some weeks may require that 2 matches be played. If so, extra matches would be played on Mondays and Fridays depending on the level.
Levels with a large number of teams will be divided into flights using a random draw.
Teams will play all teams in their level or flight in a round robin format.
55 & Over and 65 & Over Leagues:
Possible levels of play include 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0.
All levels will play 3 doubles positions.
Each level will have a regular day of play to avoid conflict with other leagues (Suburban, 18 & Over, and 40 & Over). It’s possible that there would be more than 1 match some weeks of the season.
If levels have a large number of teams, there might be more than 1 flight.
The 55 & Over League includes teams that play both during the day and in the evening, so many matches will take place in the evening.
Team Registration for 2017:

Match times:
All matches for the 18 & Over, 40 & Over, and 65 & Over Leagues are scheduled to begin at 9:00am.
The 55 & Over League includes both daytime and evening teams. When daytime teams play each other, the matches will begin at 9am if courts are available at the match site (or later if courts are taken by other league matches). Any match that involves an evening team will be played at 6 or 7:30pm.
2017 Postseason information:
The number of teams attending Regionals is set in the Section rules. If we have more flight winners than can attend, statistics and a possible playoff match will determine which teams will be the attendees. See the full policy explanation on the league website.
2017 Regional Tournaments (formerly Districts):
18 & Over: July 14-16 (3.0, 4.0, 5.0 levels)
July 28-30 (2.5, 3.5, 4.5 levels)
