Prompt: Should the government ban all GMOs in foods in the United States?

Thesis: In my opinion, the government should ban all GMOs in foods in the United
States because genetic modification is not reducing our use of pesticides that can be
linked to cancer and genetic modification of foods does not benefit the health of people.

1. The data from the United States Geological Survey,
shows the spraying of herbicides has risen by 21 percent since introducing genetically modified crops. Pesticides are toxic by design and have been linked to developmental delays and cancer.

1. Numerous studies have shown no nutritional differences between commercially available GMO and non-GMO foods. That means you’re getting the same good effects from non-GMO foods than you are foods with GMOs in them.
