Secretaries/Clerks/Typists (shortfall=3.4%); and Library (shortfall=2.6%). Minorities were underutilized in two job groups within the Technical/Paraprofessional category: Science & Other Technicians (shortfall=4.8%); and Business & Related (shortfall=5.3%). Minorities were underutilized in three of four job groups within Skilled Crafts as follows: Mechanics & Repairers, Non-Supervisory (shortfall=5.7%); Construction Trades, Non-Supervisory (shortfall=4.0%); and Skilled Crafts, Supervisory (shortfall=6.6%). Minorities were underutilized in one out of eight job groups in the Service/Maintenance area. This occurred within the Cleaning/Building Services, Supervisory job group (minority shortfall=6.7%).
Overall, the workforce was found to meet utilization standards for women in 27 out of 37 (73.0%) non-faculty job groups. Women were utilized in one out of four Executive, Administrative & Managerial (EAM) job groups. Women comprised 47.4% of the EAM C job group (includes associate and assistant deans and other executive level administrators). Women were underutilized in three EAM job groups as follows: EAM A, which includes the Provost and vice chancellors (shortfall=26.8%); EAM B, which includes deans and major division heads (shortfall=9.1%) and EAM D, which includes major department heads (shortfall=10.3%). Women were utilized in the entire Professional/Non-Faculty area and the entire Secretarial/Clerical area. In the Technical/Paraprofessional area, women were underutilized in two job groups: Computer, Engineering & Related Technicians (shortfall=22.3%); and Fire & Safety Officers, where the shortfall for women was 12.2%. Women were underutilized in four Skilled Crafts job groups as follows: Mechanics & Repairers, Non-Supervisory (shortfall=10.3%); Skilled Crafts, Supervisory (shortfall=8.2%); Construction Trades, Non-Supervisory (shortfall=6.6%) and Plant & System Operation (shortfall=9.2%). Women were underutilized in one Service/Maintenance job group: Institutional Guards (shortfall=13.7%)
