Participation in BRCPC activities allows for rightsizing your procurement opportunities.”
To Our Members

Often representatives of the Baltimore Regional Cooperative Purchasing Committee are asked what value they receive from their participation. While each representative may gain a different set of benefits, the collective group realizes an important collaborative environment for procurement professionals to discuss their similar and unique procurement needs, exchange best practices, advance the needs of the group, and work to aggregate their buying power for the advantages of best pricing, reduction of administrative burden and incorporation of best practices.

Participation in BRCPC activities allows for rightsizing your procurement opportunities. Information received at these meetings includes training forums, cooperative bidding, information exchange, peer networking, and more. The more you put in, the more you get out.

The Baltimore Regional Cooperative Purchasing Committee also works with the Metropolitan Council of Governments’ Chief Procurement Officers Committee to aggregate multi-regional cooperative opportunities, commonly referred to as the Mid-Atlantic Purchasing Team (MAPT) covering the Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington D.C. regions.

Together we can support each other as we face the procurement challenges that are before us as we pursue solutions for cooperative procurements, recruitment, Next Generation 911, due diligence practices, changing landscapes – such as “marketplaces”, emergency preparedness compliant contracting, and bringing procurement to the table, to name a few.

I look forward to working with you and bolstering your resources.
