The “grand debut” of a museum you have worked on is always an exciting affair. Although Asteria can boast a number of partnerships with internationally renowned museums, such as the MAUTO—National Automobile Museum in Turin and the MUSE—Trento Museum of Science, for us the opening of the MAGMA in Follonica really is a thrilling achievement.

Such a complex and innovative museum called for the involvement of the entire team at Asteria. For almost two years, we immersed ourselves in the Maremma and lived and breathed cast iron. For months we were honorary citizens of Follonica, working closely with the museum’s architects, the scientific committee, the director of works and the local city council commissioning the project.

As head of the business syndicate which, with the local firms Arazzi and IMEL, tangibly forged it, we are proud to present to the public and the media the new MAGMA—Museo delle Arti in Ghisa nella MAremma.

We hope the permanent exhibition will become a rallying point for the local community and a popular attraction for Italian and international tourists.
