• 
  Developing and managing the Automotive Collision Repair Technology program
  
• 
  Maintaining expertise in subject areas

  Obtaining and maintaining licenses and certifications

  Following state standards in the development of program and course instructional outlines, goals and objectives
  
• 
  Developing daily lesson plans, theory/lab assignments, and exams
  
• 
  Evaluating and recording students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives
  
• 
  Incorporating work ethics into the student culture
  
• 
  Maintaining accurate and timely attendance, grade, and program related records
  
• 
  Developing teaching methods to improve instruction and to meet different student learning styles
  
• 
  When needed meeting with students, staff members and other educators to discuss students’ instructional programs and other issues impacting the progress of students
  
• 
  Ensuring safety and security requirements and instruction are met in the lab training areas
  
• 
  Maintaining equipment with planned periodic service and maintenance
  
• 
  Requesting and maintaining supplies, tools, and equipment, and help preparing budget requests
  
• 
  Develop and implement lab management plan to include tool & supply management, equipment operations, and assure cleanliness of lab areas
  
• 
  Assisting in developing goals and objectives for program improvement and to maintain industry standards
  
• 
  Delivering administrative requests in a timely manner
  
• 
  Assisting with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts
  
• 
  Assisting with developing and maintaining an Automotive Collision Repair Technology advisory committee
  
• 
  Completing other duties as assigned
  

• 
  A Diploma or Degree in Automotive Collision Repair from a regionally accredited college
  

• 
  Must have a minimum of 3 years of full-time experience in all components of the auto body collision program including: expertise in related OSHA safety standards; painting; component repair & replacement; auto body cutting and MIG welding techniques; suspension and steering; braking and drive train systems; electrical; heating and AC; engine cooling; fuel and intake; restraint systems; hydraulic repair systems; estimating; measuring of automotive body and frames; conventional/unibody structural panel repairs including removal and replacement techniques.
  

• 
  Automotive Collision Repair teaching experience
  
• 
  ICAR and/or ASE Certifications
  
• 
  Seven (7) years’ verifiable work experience as an Automotive Collision Repair Technician including all components of the auto body collision program.
