Basic Programming Concepts

Lesson Plan


Standard- BCS-CMW-20 – Students will demonstrate an understanding of basic programming concepts.
Learning Objective - Write programs with sequences, conditionals, and iteration.
Tasks

  1. View sample Scratch projects.

  2. Demonstrate basic programming concepts using Scratch tools.

  3. Follow the Scratch Getting Started Guide to discuss program code.

  4. Use Scratch to animate an object, moving it left to right.

  5. Add a sound, change color, select stage, add loop.

  6. Run and Debug program.
