What is the importance of an elevation of a point? Cite an example.

Why is it that there are “plus stationings” between the full stations in a profile leveling?

In a Reciprocal leveling, by inspection, how do you know if a point is higher or lower than the other point?

In Trigonometric leveling, how do we know if the instrument is higher or lower in elevation from the foresights?

Why do we consider the earth’s curvature and refraction in determining the height of objects?
