Cars are used for transportation because they enable us to go farther and quicker than walking. In 1769, Nicolas Joseph Cugnot of France devised the concept, but his vehicle was a three-wheeled automobile that was heavy, drove slowly, and depended only on steam.
Later, in 1876, in Germany, Nikolaus Otto produced gasoline-powered cars that were more reliable and practical than steam-powered autos that required boiling water first. Automobiles that can operate on both electricity and petrol are already a reality, which marks a significant leap.
This technology has made everyone's life easier; people can now go anywhere in a short amount of time while enjoying comfy seats, air conditioning, and a range of other automotive amenities. People used to travel for days or weeks on horseback or on foot to get to their destination.
