Chris Dalman-Bio

Chris Dalman, a former professional American football player, played offensive lineman for seven seasons with the San Francisco 49ers (1993-2000). He was an offensive/defensive tackle for Palma High School in Salinas, and a four-year football letter-winner at Stanford University graduating with a degree in Political Science.

A sixth round draft choice by San Francisco in 1993, Dalman spent his entire NFL playing career with the 49ers, playing 107 games, starting 64 at center and guard. Dalman captured one Super Bowl ring following the 1994 season in Super Bowl XXIX when San Francisco defeated the San Diego Chargers. He also played in three NFC championship games.

After playing in the National Football League, Dalman returned to Palma High School as an Assistant Coach and Junior High English instructor. After a stint as the Assistant Offensive Line Coach for the Atlanta Falcons for two years, he became the Offensive Line Coach and Running Game Coordinator for the Stanford Cardinal football team until resigning in January 2009. He is now back at Palma as the Dean of Students and a football coach at the school.



Chris and his wife, Yanne, have two beautiful children, Kate, a freshman at Sonoma State, and Drew, a freshman at Palma High School.
