SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE Persistence: All data will be stored in a database using Microsoft Access. Platform: Any IBM compatible PC running Windows 95 or greater Error Handling: Exceptions and error handling will be handled with Microsoft guidelines under Visual C++ and MFC. Languages: The application will be written using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 version and MFC. Also, standard SQL and Microsoft ActiveX Data Object will be used in the application. Platform - IBM PC Configuration - Windows Operating System Database records will be stored on the hard drive Security Security will be integrated into the application during the implementation part of the project. Backup/Restore The client, Dick Matz, will be responsible for backing up his own data.
